Let’s face it Megyn Kelly got fired for having a discussion. It was a discussion that was controversial and in which I would strongly disagree with her opinion on but which doesn’t neglect that it shouldn’t occur in the 1st place. It is true that it would have been beneficial to have a more diverse panel in said discussion but was that her fault on the producer of the show? More importantly how are we ever going to break barriers when we keep putting up walls on what can and can’t be said in a public forum? For if one doesn’t say what they think openly out of fear that doesn’t mean they won’t say it in private with people that have a similar view. Which can only create greater divisions of mistrust and even hate.
