It might appear cruel to some but I only give a passing moment to any negative emotion that might arise. Maybe it’s not an actual minute but it’s close to it for life is too short to moan and complain without answers to the feelings. We can spend hours speaking about “how you feel and why” or we can spend a minute (or so) on that feeling and work to a happier time. It’s true I might not be the most empathic or maybe I just see the clock ticking away.
