I often wondered how my forefather and father survived without technology and now I understand a bit easier then we do. For without technology work really started at 9AM and ended at 5PM. There were no cell phones faxes or emails that made sure you were always were on call wherever you might land. If you didn’t have an item in your warehouse well then you wouldn’t have the world wide web to find it. Snail mail was much slower and so was the pace of the world around you. Customers demands might have still been tough to fill but nothing like today’s times when emails are expected to be opened before they reach your inbox. Yes technology helps bring us closer together but also has us working harder then ever.
