There are no words that I can use to describe the feeling of seeing the Indianapolis in person but I will try. Of course to watch cars moving at over 200 MPH past you verse watching it on your screen is the difference of watching a cooking show and eating the contents. The impact of being with over 300,000 from all across this country and world united in watching one event together can’t be overstated. Understanding that these incredible athletes are driving at a speed that most wouldn’t attempt for one mile let along 500 against some of the greatest atheletes of the world. Then to think that in over 93 degree heat (those cars have no AC) that there are no bathroom breaks or even extra moments to breathe for over 3 hours. It’s just simple said something one needs to experience for themselves at least once in their lifetime and then attempt to explain the roar of the crowd against the tension of the fastest track in the world.
