Let’s be honest sometimes we really don’t care what another says. We might feign attention but we have our own problems or glories we want to talk about instead. Especially when our problems and glories take up so much more space in our own heads and ears then what the other is saying.
This is when we have to go to the shoe store for even if we can’t fit another shoe’s at least we can take a deeper moment to look at them. Maybe that shoe store will be in the bathroom or a different part of our brain but when we get there and listen suddenly they have taken a walk to their shoe store as well. For it’s not the words that one is saying but the feelings they convey that are shining through and without a deeper look we will continue to drift apart.
