I was told to not say this or that because this or that would hurt someone to the point that I had prepared my own duct tape. What happened to the time when we taught our children that sticks and stones may break our bones but words will never hurt us? How did we get to the point of safe zones and word watching? If education is teach our children one thing it is to be prepared for the tough world. A world where nice words aren’t always spoken and you still can’t break a bone over it.
