There’s something about this race that you have to catch at least a few laps hopefully a bit more. It might not Daytona but it’s longer laps and more Southern. How many times do we feel we walk our path with nobody even looking our way? It can be a sinking feeling as we let our troubles and glories go unnoticed by those around us. Many might say they have a life partner but for most that partner has turned a different corner. When one walks in such a path it’s good to know one just isn’t enough. We need to have different friends, family and even close strangers that have walked through one of our paths. Maybe one friend shares your political philosophy and is up and down with your political swings while another is more into the arts or faith. Just remember life can have many links. Further note that there is one who truly cares about you when all else feels broken and will never leave your side if you’re willing to open your heart and soul to the one. There are times most will have this feeling but knowing someone watches our steps continues to allow us to move forward.

As I left viewing “The Zookeeper’s Wife” I felt it was fine but didn’t have the impact other Holocaust movies had on me after such a viewing. The movie covered all the bases but something kept it small in my mind. For I wanted to believe it was going to be a great movie that I wouldn’t allow my mind to think what is was missing. The truth is a Holocaust movie should not worry about ratings but instead be concerned with the impact the film has on it’s audience and if that means showing more raw footage or brutal actions then that must be done. Characters must be well drawn out if we are to find the tears coming out of our hearts. This is what “The Zookeepers Wife” was missing which left it with a small impact rather then the large impact that it should have had as one family risked everything to save hundreds from slaughter.
To truly taste something in the right way should consist of utilizing all 6 senses. The food should look delectable and served in a way that appeals to your eyes. It should feel comforting to your touch even it’s just the utensil you use. Even the crunch or sound with which your mouth makes may help to determine if the food is to your liking. Today the scent of Nutmeg led me to this discovery as it took me away from the taste I was supposed to enjoy. Our imagination can also play a large role as we might be told we are drinking a very expensive wine, or eating at a “fine restaurant” and try to make our other senses agree. Of course the finally key ingredient is taste which can over-rule the other senses but only with the trained tongue.
Are you closer to an individual who you share good times with or is their for you during the bad times? It’s great to have the friend that has both these characteristics but when you have to choose what do you do? We can say that loyalty comes from those who have been there when times are a bit rough but great memories come from those who share those fun moments with you. Maybe you’re more likely to help those who have helped you out of jamb in the past but actively seek those that have shared a laugh with you. In the end it might not be as fun but seeking those with loyalty must be your final decision with a good book or movie on the side.
I’m no Genius although I’m watching the show and am a bit lost but that doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy witnessing science right in front of me and today such an event came within my eyes. For I walked down a dark path that had only one light bulb shining and preceded to turn it off before staring at it when science hit my eyes! In this darkness even though the light was off I continued to see the light bulb as if it was still on and as I walked away until a new light came my way. As the great scientist I sought to be this morning I redid the test and the same event occurred. I’m pretty sure I’m not insane because there were no Pink Elephants carrying the light bulb although that would be fascinating! What is the called? Has this happened to you?
I find Stephen Colbert’s remarks about the President repulsive and undignified even for a late night host but the FCC should close it’s investigation ASAP. For once we launch into fining humor no matter how bad the jokes other voices will soon become silent. When voices become silent that other means to express those points of view will be made which could be more detrimental to society as a whole and you never know when a brilliant remark might come from a Jack Ass. The best answer to those that you personally fine offensive is for the people to speak their mind and watch a different channel. It shouldn’t be led by some official boycott or protest but by viewers who find there is humor and talent on the other 400 or so channels. Therefore make your own choice and let Freedom of Speech reign.
