I was saddened by the loss of Chris Cornell not for the work on Soundgarden but for the reason we are sad when a person passes on, especially at a young age. The truth is I never fully appreciated the music of this group and don’t see that occurring any time in the future but I appreciate the pain his loss brings to his family, friends and those who have enjoyed his “talents”. Talents that include his music but also the gifts of happiness and love he brought to many. So rest in peace Chris Cornell we will miss you even those who may never had the chance to enjoy your music.
