When G-D asked King Solomon what he wanted it wasn’t wealth or fame but wisdom maybe it wasn’t such a wise after-all. For G-D not only granted King Solomon that wisdom but wealth and fame as well and in the end King Solomon rebelled from the true source. Maybe having such great wisdom leads many to belief that they are the source of what is wise instead of the creator of such thoughts? Therefore if G-D would ask me such a question I would ask to be closer. Understanding not just the knowledge of G-D but the love and hope it brings in our life everyday. Closer isn’t that something we all can pray for?
