I read a story that I thought should have been in the “Onion” then in the lame street media where an 8 year old boy who was “transgender” was refused entry into the Boy Scouts. Eight years old and transgender? How many Eight years old know what gender even means yet are mature enough to determine their sexual outcomes? Could the parents be seeking as much attention as their children because at eight I would hope they would have some parental control. How about we allow children to be children and play in different roles they might want to be at a moment without fixing labels on them that could destroy who they become? Transgender at 8 really? Why not let them be a police officer or firefighter 1st.
