For some reason my loved ones can become full of rage when I bring up my political views. These individuals who are often kind and patient lose it all when topics such as Abortion, Gun Rights or the current political scene are discussed. It is if they’re a boiling tea kettle ready to explode when I simple state my point of view and this steam rises before I’ve even dipped my feet in the water. In the end most will concede defeat by saying let’s move on to a different discussion or start calling names. Maybe I have a masochist tendencies or maybe I actually believe people will eventual listen either way it keeps the mind moving and wakes me up to deal with the routine conversation.
