It appears that the Google search engine has drunk the DNC Kool Aid and eaten the can as it’s “top searches” have all to do with the Democratic convention speeches (Barrack Obama, Tim Kaine, Joe Biden ) last night. I understand that the Democratic convention has general interest in the public eye but to have 3 stories trending in the top 5 has me wondering whether Google has it’s own DNC card. I’m sure there are other issues and events that the public is interested in but I’m not sure if Google is interested in them. If a private company wants to push an agenda that is perfectly fine as long as the public is informed of what it is doing otherwise let’s leave the news and searches to the people not the political class.
