When a boyfriend, girlfriend or family member says those three words it’s easy to know the response is the same with one additional word “too“. Yet when someone who isn’t in that realm says it your response might feel a bit awkward. For do you truly love them back and if not would that response lead them down a different path, then you’d want to go in this relationship? This doesn’t have to involve any sexual context but the idea that you are closer then they think. Or could you just be exaggerating the context of those words because of how you use them vs the way the other person uses them. One person could be saying as almost a greeting while the other says it only at their death bed. Just as all words that are spoken it is in the mouth of those that are saying it to the ears of those that listening that truly tells you what the context should be and the response as well.
