Last night I stayed up a bit too late waiting to put the wash in the dryer and for that reason watched the late night show’s deepening void. For even today when they’re are 3 hosts competing for the same market share they all appear the same. Each host is a white, young male, with a bit of left turn that makes sure they continue to divide the same market share up. Let’s say we could change the channel to see someone with a different angle with a person such as Condalisa Rice. Here is an African American woman who tilts more to the right and is also a talented musician. She also has the experience of being in front of the big screen on a regular basis. I’m not sure she would be able to perform in the crazy antics that the other hosts do but at least there would truly be a bit of variety in the late night slot. What do you think?
