Leadership requires you to set clear lines that everyone understands and if broken must be met with decisive consequences. When this occurs many will hate you but they will also respect you. Those many will become smaller as they see the result of such definitive actions and learn that your goals are for their benefit as well. Therefore it is better to have less rules that you can enforce then more rules then you can’t enforce. It is best to have rules based on a moral compass then have rules based on holding power. It is better to have rules that everyone can understand there purpose then ones that only bring confusion and rebellion. Leadership may truly be lonely but without it confusion and chaos will develop.
