Israel should have a presence in the Gaza Strip until the Palestinian people can have a fair and free election that only includes parties that want peace with their neighbors. I believe that these elements exist in all communities but are often terrorized by those who seek power by all means necessary. Once the terrorist elements are eliminated then these individuals will step forward be vetted and then will have the opportunity to lead their people to a more fruitful peaceful existence within their borders and without.
