Snowflake my 16 1/2 year old Pomerania dog is truly very sick. We have spent 6 months treating her Cancer at a high price not only in monies but time that my wife has generously spent helping the dog but now she has a collapsed trachea with tumors. Snowflake has had a steroid shot that the doctor hopes will reduce the tumor but G-D forbid if that doesn’t work our options will be quite limited.
The dog is basically sleeping and not eating much. It’s very difficult because my whole family has grown up with this dog especially my daughter. I know most will say to put her out of her misery but I also believed in the “Guinea Pig” of trying an experiment that will either cure her or let her move on. Many will say it’s just a dog but when you have had them for so long they are truly part of the family.
