I have to tell you my mind is split between a town of two values as Marco Rubio asked pointed questions of Rex Tillerson in his Senate Confirmation hearings. The U.S foreign policy must worry about America 1st but does that mean we step on top of innocent lives to get there? Marco Rubio gave a pointed case why the defense of freedom and justice are values America should and must defend around the globe while Rex Tillerson points to a more pragmatic world where you take it the way it is not as you might want it to be.   I’ve always slanted in the Rubio direction but can understand how the other side thinks and see history proving both policies productive whether it be making deals with Stalin to fight against Hitler or fighting against the Evil Empire the Soviet Union;  America has taken both positions in it’s history.  Russia and China aren’t always good players but their on the table so we must think of a way to deal with them that is most productive and least cruel to innocent life’s in the end I guess we must do what’s best for America and do whatever we can to make sure innocent life’s aren’t hurt in balancing those goals.

The President has much to cry about when looking back from where he started and where his administration appears to be heading. Here are some of his greatest accomplishments (below) and deepest failures that I believe we all can accept no matter what our political persuasion.

ACCOMPLISHMENT

1. Call to Kill Osama Bin Laden- The President gave the go ahead to make this decision and deserves credit for it.
2. Killing Pirates- He ordered the death of several pirates who were holding American’s for ransom.
3. Economy- It’s a fake recovery based on holding interest rates artificially low but it is better then he started with. Many might put in the failure category because of the expectations but I wanted to give some credit.

FAILURES

1. ISIS- This terrorist organization didn’t exist before his turn and he allowed it grow to the Cancer it is today as it has spread around the world.
2. Death of 500,000- His inaction after drawing a red line allowed Assad to produce the killing fields in Syria.
3. Obamacare- This rise in premiums and patients losing their doctors was never in this prescription.
4. Relationship with allies- The world is in a mess and we don’t have the support team behind us to help clean it up.
5. Police Shootings- The amount of officers killed is directly related to the trash talk of law enforcement which was all to acceptable in the White House.

We can determine from recent history that the “next in line” theory of electing candidates from either party is a sure fire way to failure.  That an “individual” earned the right of the party loyalty because they waited in line and now it’s their time no matter what the voters really want is a sure fire way to pick Bob Dole, Mitt Romney, Hillary Clinton or in other words get the other party in office.  Instead the party should seek an individual who truly excites the grassroots by touching on the issues that adds electricity to a campaign even if it means touching the 3rd rail. We might want to be loyal to those that served but if we want to win then let’s worry about being loyal to those that pay their checks instead .

If you want to walk down the “red carpet” in the American people eye’s then I would suggest performing at the Inauguration of Donald Trump. For even most of those who didn’t vote for him will be watching and wishing him the best for our entire country. Those that due perform will truly be under the “spotlight” as they replace many of the A listed who decided not to attend.  I’m personally available for any performance the President asks of me and have started juggling knives just in case I’m …. Ow that hurts!

Anyone who has read this blog knows I’m not the biggest fan of H.C but I’m all for her running for this position and it’s not dog catcher but Mayor of NYC.  NYC governance is so liberal that Hillary Clinton would be considered a moderate.  I can’t imagine her being more left then our current mayor on issues such as business labor relations and supporting the police department/security which are the major issues in this city.  Of course if she fails in this bid for NYC mayor it will probably close all her chances for political office in the future except for the dog catcher position and for that reason alone I must say go Hillary go!

I was brought up in the midst of the Cold War when Russia and it’s allies were truly the evil empire but it appears that a new way of thinking might link them together to do good for the entire world. Donald Trump realizes that Russia has a way to eliminate Radical Islamic terrorism  that we  could not do without strong internal and external pressures of condemnation. Very simply not every country is judged on the same morale code Israel has the highest code with the United States just a little below and Russia near the bottom.  Sometimes you may have to have a share a room with those who are a bit more extreme without sharing the bed in order for it to be peaceful in the hallway.  Therefore the alliance of resources and resources could truly put an end to this disease that is spreading around the world and find us on a path of collaboration  and peace.

President Obama & Secretary of State John Kerry are cowards only willing to take anti-Israel actions after they’ve lost the election.  These cowards knew that if they pushed there U.N. resolution against Israel’s right to build settlements in Jerusalem or other disputed territories that Trump would have walked away with the election, which he did anyway. President Obama &  Secretary Kerry should have been brave enough to boycott their trip to the Western Wall when they visited Israel if they truly believe it was in disputed territory but some how there political courage was vacant then.  Well let me state this as my 2nd Amendment friends would say will give up Jerusalem with our cold dead heads if need be.  Why don’t you and your brave friends from the U.N take on real human rights abuses in countries such as Venezuela, Cuba, Iran …. and leave the only true Democracy in the middle east the hell alone!  

Your political ideologue might be determined more by who bothers you then what motivates you. For example if you are sick of waiting on government roads and dealing with DMV bureaucracy you’ll probably be leaning more to the right but if you’re sick and tired of business bureaucracy such as waiting to get a new contract for your cell phone or dealing with your insurance company you’ll probably swing more to the left.  You could be annoyed on both sides equally and in that case you’re probably an independent. Of course if you don’t like big in any formats then you’ll probably be me.
