Tzizit 2 Anthony Bourdain 2

The traditional practice of wearing tzizit  literally and/or figuratively might help those deal with such a painful heart that they want to stop it from beating.  The purpose of wearing such additions to your clothes is to steer you heart away from sights that would keep you closer to   Life is on top of the list that G-D  wants you to follow as one is obligated to ignore Sabbath observance to save others including themselves.  Therefore if people who suffered from a heart full of such blackness that they would consider taking their own life, had this type of symbol in their own, then maybe they would look at it and get the proper professional before it was too late.   A traditional observance might be just the step many need to help them deal with their mental issues today.

Foggy Road… No Escape?

fog fog 2

It appears as if I’ve walked this foggy road for days on end and at this point I don’t know where a day begins or ends my only motivation force is to see you again.  The strange thing is I can’t recall how I got here all I have is images of that accident where I guess I was a bit to distracted and now this walk to G-D knows where.  My life has been far from perfect yet even with all my mistakes I’ve given what I could for the family so I guess it hasn’t been that bad.  Occassionally though this fog is too thick and I feel that I should give up and then suddenly it dissipates for a moment to reveal a clearing or some fresh Raspberry’s (you know my inspirational food) and I trek along the way. Even when a bush gets in my way I find some powertool of strength to pull it away. Yet today my ankle is hurting, the fog is thicker then ever and I don’t see how I can survive another….. Wait there is a clearing!!! A gate or something and then I see grandpa greating me… but he’s been dead!?

Reality Check

Reality Check

While we might believe we have opened the door to a new opportunity let’s face it the door wouldn’t be there if we couldn’t see it.  A matter if others didn’t help lead us to the door or make sure it stayed open it would have slammed in our face.  We could have fallen straight on the floor just as we were about to open it as well.  The very existence of such a door at this moment in our life only comes from a higher authority.  Therefore the reality check is without G-D putting a door near us, the health to walk toward it and the great people along the way we would still be walking in the dark.

Faith Driven

faith 3 FAITH 1

Faith is easy to observe when you’re in a room of the faithful. When those around you share in the path you have chosen but when you’re the only one driving that is the road test that is most difficult to take.  Others might be “tolerant” of your views but question even the start of your engine and then you might wonder whether it’s worth it take out the key.  Just remember it can be a long and sometimes lonely journey yet G-D has the path laid out for you so keep driving.

Shavuot?

Shavuot.jpg 2 Shavuot 3

Today is Shavuot? A little known holiday that only celebrates the giving of the 10 COMMANDMENTS?  These commandments that many of the faithful hold dear is given to us on this date according to the Jewish calendar. Yet it’s even difficult to spell the name (I tried 3 versions) let alone remember the meaning behind this important holiday. It’s time for a new advertisting/marketing campaign to bring out the importance of this date in our calender. While all the laws of the bible/torah are key if you don’t get these 10 right you’ll never find the door.

You’re Intrisically Holy

faith 3 Jewish Faith Healing

Recently I heard a discussion at my Shul on whether things and people are designated to be holy or if it’s intrinsic. I believe when it comes to you and even me it’s intrisic.  That we have a certain holiness or G-D wouldn’t have brought us here. For the odds of us actually making it through the canal are literally a million to one starting with Adam & Eve meeting at the right place up to your parents.   If anyone in that line didn’t perform the act at that certain time not only wouldn’t you be born but your great, great parents wouldn’t have as well. Now a days the act of genocide of the unborn (abortion) has to be added to this mathematical equation of you as well.  Therefore you are here for a special mission that G-D has placed in you from your birth.  If you don’t get it exactly right this time but are leaning more to the positive you’ll be given another trip down the canal to get it just right the next. For your intrisically holy and the world wouldn’t be the same without you.

G-D Spoke Today

faith 3

G-D spoke to me today and at first I didn’t listen because I thought maybe it was just a coincidence yet twice was enough to open my eyes. It wasn’t with words that I heard G-D’s voice but through action that the lips moved as I have been blessed to hear many times in my life.  Some of those words have been seen in miracles that I written about in the past (  https://budrebelproductions.com/2015/04/03/miracles-today/  ) and some through paintings I illustrate today.

I woke up at 612 on Shabbos and then went back to sleep only to wake up at 657 and I know you might ask what is the big deal? That is because we are looking at the clock with different eyes and souls.  For 6+12 = 18 and 6+5+7= 18 as well, which in the Jewish faith is 18 or Chai/Life.  On Shabbos I try to separate my life of work which consumes my daily thought to a higher life principle where I’m more open to enjoyment in the avenue’s I leave behind from Monday-Friday.  It might seem a stretch to those who lack faith that this is the word of G-D but my ears are tuned differently.  I hear these words telling me that life isn’t just about what you work for but what you give.  A simple sign/word that G-D wants us to get up and live as we experience the greatness of the journey.

Baseball – Life- & Beyond

Mets VS Cincinnatitim-teebow-mets-2

Sports and life have similar threads that one weaves here and G-D willing a higher location.  Everyone is a given a chance at the plate but depending on the coach the outs you are allowed before you sit down might appear unfair.  You can be peforming poorly and then that one hit makes you a sudden hero.  If your performance is lacking though you can be kicked off the team hoping another Manager will pick you up.  Eventually even the greatest player will lose their strength as the outs continue to add up and their game is over.  For those who have earned their stripes they will get to play for the real boss but for those that haven’t they’ll start over again from a different starting postion.

Resent

resent 2 resent 1

Those lacking resent those that have…faith for the following reasons listed below.

(1) JUDGEMENT- They feel those that individuals with faith are judge and jury convicting them of their sin. When those of true faith  continually look to improve their world within before taking a step outside.

(2) CALMNESS-  It annoys those who are really annoyed that you appear to have a certain calmness and a deeper understanding of the problems that occurring right in front of them.  Yet you of faith are just annoyed at the moment but also feel a moment of peace and tranquality coming soon.

(3) MISSING- Those that lead the secular life can’t believe you of faith deny yourself so many of the things that they can and do possess.  While those of faith find a greater calling then immediate gratification.

(4) G-D-   Individuals lacking faith want to blame while those with faith want to praise.  It annoys those that lack faith that you don’t see the cup drained out instead of it filling to the rim if not here then at the gates above.

Would be dead

coffin alive-3

I would have been dead by now if I didn’t choose life several years ago.  For at this age I realize how important it is to the body, mind and soul to make sure I have a day to rest.  Work is great but let’s face it just as an automobile can’t run all the time you have to learn to change your oil. I see now how the stress of trying to achieve in the workplace constantly can make you fall straight down if you don’t put your body, mind and soul in park. This doesn’t mean the engine isn’t running for their is a whole world outside of your business cycle that needs to be explored.  Just remember the world will survive your day of rest and so will you. Thank you G-D for giving me this day as you allow me to choose life.  Good Shabbos to all.
