Debates are not just about issues and facts but the emotions behind them. For, after a debate what is the viewer left with from each of the candidates. Here is the way I see it.
Ron DeSantis – He appeared confident and had some great moments but nothing that stood out for the next day.
Vivek Ramaswamy- Took the most punches and although was bloodied still had a bright smile at the end. He also had some great zingers for the big boys in name and size.
Tim Scott- Was the nice guy but you wondered could he be “too nice” for this job.
Chris Christie- Looked bitter, angry and honestly just mean.
Mike Pence- Appeared arrogant like this job was made for him and him alone.
Nikki Haley- Had a pleasant demeanor except when she wouldn’t let others finish their remarks and then had a minor Christie moment.
Asa Hutchinson- He appeared to have come from a time machine as his political lines were from a previous decade.
Doug Burgum- His demeanor was the one you take when you have trouble falling asleep. It’s Doug or Melatonin.
