Would we listen?

Plaques

I’ve always wondered how  Pharaoh could ignore the plagues that invested his land yet could we harden our own hearts not to see a disaster in our midst? We are told that G-D made it less painful for Pharaoh to absorb the effects of a plague just as a doctor gives us a pain killer to lesson our own pains but we both know they still exist. Would we open our 5 senses to what is occurring around us even if it was dimmed and change the path we were walking, if it went against our own ego and glory?  Could we stand for live even if everyone around us has a more convenient path that has been used for over 30 years or would our own plague hit us instead?  The truth is it isn’t as easy as it may seem when someone hardens their heart to the signs G-D has put on their path. The path of blood might not look as red to those who only see their  own blood.

Sanction-Sanctuary Cities

Los Angeles NYC

If you’re a government official unwilling to enforce the laws on the books of course their must be sanctions to your city/town.  Laws that you don’t believe are just must be challenged in the court system and if you neglect to follow them well just like a private citizen there are consequences. Therefore “sanctuary cities” must face penalties for there to be justice for all.   As a private citizen I might violate the speed limit but I know if I’m caught I will receive a penalty therefore I wouldn’t announce to the police force where and when I would be speeding. These cities are and have been announcing when and where they are breaking the law and therein turn their is no choice sanctuary cities must be sanctioned.

Founder- Cold Meter

The Founder

Whether parts or all of the story told about Ray Kroc is true, in the movie “Founder” , we can determine that he had a very cold meter.  Most in business have degrees they will go to in making sure that their operation is running and turning a profit because sometimes being a bit too warm can get you burned.  It is the degree that truly matters when profits replace people or where you’re willing to slide into humanity.  After watching this film I realized I may never be the tycoon that Mr. Kroc was because success isn’t just spelled in the dollars for me but the greater impact you can have on others and the image you leave in your mirror everyday to get there.

Largest Silly Protest

Woman's March on Washington

In the past there were protests in Washington that truly stood for something; fighting against the injustice African American’s dealt with during segregation, a woman’s right to suffrage/the vote, defending the right to life of the unborn etc contrast that with yesterday’s protest. A protest against a duly elected President of the United States who has only been in office for one day and hasn’t even addressed any of the “concerns” of these protesters. It was more of a big get together of leftist causes then a movement to change anything.  The biggest issue that appeared to unite them was to protect the right of a woman to kill an unborn baby. Compare and contrast that with the issues of yesteryear which dealt with the basic human rights and dignity of our citizens and you’ll understand why I consider this the largest silly protest in history.

Immigration Island

immigration Island

Immigration Island would be the helping hand to all those refugees seeking liberation from an oppressive regime.  This island would be basically governed by a group of countries with the goal of vetting these refugees to insure that they have no terrorist or extremist ties and to find a country that would best fit their skills as well as their background (s). The island itself would allow those refugees a place for them to start a new life based on basic human freedom, dignity and self worth. Any taxes received by those working or having businesses on such an Island would go to funding it’s operation.  Immigration Island a compassion solution and safe solution to our immigration problem(s).

Trump Inauguration- Protesters-Protest You & Me

Anti Trump Protesters 2  Anti Trump Protesters

Let’s face it today the “Anti Trump Protesters” are protesting you and me as much as they are protesting against Donald Trump.  For  President Elect Trump has not been sworn into office so they can’t complain about his performance and is duly elected by the system that we & they have participated in or  had the freedom not to participate in as well.  Therefore the protesters are angry at the 60 million plus who have elected him for this  office and anyone who wants to work with the President even if they didn’t vote for him.  Let’s be honest if  most of these  protesters had their way a military coup would replace the duly elected system we have here and install in King  Bernie Sanders & Queen Jill Stein for life. Sorry this is America and I’m not only going to the Inauguration to support the people’s choice for President Donald Trump but the people and system that put him in their in the 1st place.

Biopolar Days

Bipolar days

Sometimes days appear very cold and hot where really great things appear to be happening in one moment and annoying/bad things in the next.  It is amazing how out of the darkness of a day suddenly sun will appear out of know where and fade away before you get your sunglasses on.  Today was such a day where things were rolling faster then a roller coaster but thank G-D the dips weren’t deep enough that I couldn’t  pull up to the next height which included learning great talents of loved ones and exploring new ventures.  Tomorrow I’m hoping to wear those sunglasses as an exciting journey awaits…

Clemency Chelsea Manning- President Obama’s game

President Obama Chess

As President Obama pawns are being knocked down after the loss of Hillary Clinton to Donald Trump he is trying to build a legacy with his leftist friends. Clemency to Chelsea Manning is another extraordinary example of these actions as he let out of prison not because he deserves it but because radical activist in the leftist community are pushing it.  His stabbing of our greatest ally Israel  and stopping freedom loving people from Cuba from gaining citizenship in our country, are two other examples.  He assumes by pleasing the most liberal wings in our country that they will control what the  history books will write about his legacy.  The sad truth is Obama is probably right, unless the Trump administration is given a chance to rewrite it. This will be a tower order to fill with the media the way it is. Yet they haven’t seen the Trumps newest sky scraper in D.C and the hands he brings to the D.C chess Table

Rex Tillerson meets Marco Rubio

Rex Tillerson Marco Rubio Rex Tillerson Marco Rubio.jpg 2

I have to tell you my mind is split between a town of two values as Marco Rubio asked pointed questions of Rex Tillerson in his Senate Confirmation hearings. The U.S foreign policy must worry about America 1st but does that mean we step on top of innocent lives to get there? Marco Rubio gave a pointed case why the defense of freedom and justice are values America should and must defend around the globe while Rex Tillerson points to a more pragmatic world where you take it the way it is not as you might want it to be.   I’ve always slanted in the Rubio direction but can understand how the other side thinks and see history proving both policies productive whether it be making deals with Stalin to fight against Hitler or fighting against the Evil Empire the Soviet Union;  America has taken both positions in it’s history.  Russia and China aren’t always good players but their on the table so we must think of a way to deal with them that is most productive and least cruel to innocent life’s in the end I guess we must do what’s best for America and do whatever we can to make sure innocent life’s aren’t hurt in balancing those goals.

President Obama’ Legacy

obama-farewell-address

The President has much to cry about when looking back from where he started and where his administration appears to be heading. Here are some of his greatest accomplishments (below) and deepest failures that I believe we all can accept no matter what our political persuasion.

ACCOMPLISHMENT

  1. Call to Kill Osama Bin Laden- The President gave the go ahead to make this decision and deserves credit for it.
  2. Killing Pirates- He ordered the death of several pirates who were holding American’s for ransom.
  3. Economy- It’s a fake recovery based on holding interest rates artificially low but it is better then he started with. Many might put in the failure category because of the expectations but I wanted to give some credit.

FAILURES

  1. ISIS- This terrorist organization didn’t exist before his turn and he allowed it grow to the Cancer it is today as it has spread around the world.
  2. Death of 500,000- His inaction after drawing a red line allowed Assad to produce the killing fields in Syria.
  3. Obamacare- This rise in premiums and patients losing their doctors was never in this prescription.
  4. Relationship with allies- The world is in a mess and we don’t have the support team behind us to help clean it up.
  5. Police Shootings- The amount of officers killed is directly related to the trash talk of law enforcement which was all to acceptable in the White House.
