Slavery as we know of it in the “modern time” is a despicable abomination yet the way it was used in biblical times is something we might want to look at. For, this was general a sentence for a crime where one would serve as an indentured servant.  The person put in such a position could be freed if the master abused them by treating them in inhumane way.  The time of such servitude would be limited to seven years unless the “slave” decided they wanted to stay. In our society where criminals go in and out of the system without learning any trade or improving their lives I wonder if some form of this “servitude” wouldn’t serve the criminal and society better as a whole?  G-D knows our criminal justice system could use some improvements as a whole.

Hello, I’m calling you… again.  How long can you be mad at me for this doesn’t make any sense? I know you hate answering telemarketers but this is a really good deal that I know you will like. Just give me the chance to prove it to you it will only take a minute of your time.  What are you dead are something? Oh shit you are I guess I’m not the only still trying to get a pulse.

1 + 1 = 9 when it comes to Y-O-U and I’m not letting you get to 10.  For, I know you did that to spite me and spiting will continue till I put an end to it!  You say my adding is off but I know in your head it’s adding up so an explosion can occur in mine.  There not related sure and chickens don’t fly.  In the end my adding might honestly be off but I want give you a chance to grab a calculator.

You might think you own your house but you’re my territory. For, no other four-legged friends will get this close to you no matter how much they bark or growl as I’m in charge and I’m not moving no matter what!  Well, maybe I’ll move but only if the territory “you” do as well.

You put in more hours than the rest of the “team” combined and then are the househusband without the “title” or “acknowledgment. It’s okay for you know who the ultimate boss is.   Yes, your day and night are full even though many who keep you busy continue to pile work on you. Well, at least your boss gives you a full 24 hours off no matter what.  Working for the big boss puts everything in perspective as you have only an atom’s worth space while thou has the entire universe.  Your hours and days will end while there is no rest for the one who really is in charge.  Yet as you trudge through another day it sort of can become overwhelming so take a moment and realize the heavenly mission you are on and the gates that await your journey.

I remember growing up and feeling a distance from my tribe as they kept putting us in the victim mode. Yes, we suffered from the greatest travesty in modern history the “Holocaust” but was that the identity we wanted to portray, especially in this country? No, I wanted to identify as a person who can conquer the hate where-ever it might come from and unify with my beloved country. The national anthem brought us all together whatever our stipes, struggles or history our peoples have gone through even if the path could be bumpy at times.  I wonder my African American brothers look in this mirror too when the Black National Anthem is playing.

This could be the greatest Superbowl ad ever!  This ad takes you to a place where no truck has gone before and has you uncomfortably laughing all the way.  Taking a rip from other ads which sell another strong product without even mentioning the name this ad will stay in your head way after the big game. The only problem is having to explain it to your children.
