WARNING INNATE BIAS DETECTED
Who should you root for in the decisive game 7 between the Houston Astro’s and the NY Yankees is a decision I’ve made well before it began but I want to show that I can project a logical argument for both cases without my complete bias seeping through. If MSNBC and CNN can say they present the news with some fairness then I should be able to state a fair case for both sides. Here are the points you should consider (below).
(1) HOME TEAM- If a team wins when they are playing home it’s much more exciting and loud then when the opponent wins + Houston Astro’s
(2) TOUGH YEAR– The city or community that is recovering from a disasters event such as a Hurricane could see some of that pain wiped away with such a win + Houston Astro’s
(3) BETTER COLORS- Is it more fun to root for a team with bright lively colors then one that has colors that appear to been needed a wash + Houston Astro’s
(4) JOSE ALTUVE = Let’s just say a shorter version of Pete Rose + Lenny Dykstra (when they played the game) as returned to the ballpark + Houston Astro’s
(5) LONGER WAIT- It’s just nice to support a team that hasn’t been in a world series for a longer period of time and hasn’t won 27 of them in the past + Houston Astro’s
