We all can agree with supply, for if you don’t have the quantity to produce a product/service at a marketable price then you can forget about demand yet the 2nd word is a bit trickier. For although there must be an initial demand in the marketplace for the type of product or service your item has there can many substitutes that will work adequate, therefore demand must be built up at least to some degree. In other words we might desire an apple but there are many choices on where to go there (Golden Delicious is my favorite). How to build that demand for your specific product is the key or it might end up at Walmart but at the back bottom aisle. Here are few ways to build demand.
(1) NAMES- Prominent individuals who endorse your product whether they be in that industry or are just famous will help create a buzz.
(2) SPACE- Location in a store can be key therefore building a display whether it be at a Point of Sale or other key location in a store will help.
(3) NEW TECHNOLOGY- The old press isn’t cutting as deep as before therefore you must be open to social media campaigns, YouTube Ads etc.
(4) NICHE- You don’t have to sell the whole world just those most likely to have a built in interest to your products.
