There is an “Art” to those who spot an individual. For just as a painter has to ease the brush to the canvas so does a Spotter have to ease the weight to the individual attempting the lift.  The “Spotter” can’t put too much effort on their end or it will appear that they did the lift themselves or make it too hard that a doctors visit is called for next.  Just as an artist must be inspired to create their work a “Spotter” must be inspired to “spot” and show it or the lifter will feel that their efforts may not be worth it (literally).  Spotter’s can create an image of strength that is real and beautiful.
