New & Old

It appears that lately whatever is old is ** new again**.    I saw it occur with Kate Bush’s “Running Up The Hill” which we could blame (depending on your perspective) on this years Stranger Things Season but now it’s Beach Weather “Sex, Drugs,etc” which I can’t find an excuse for. This song all of sudden is climbing up the Alternative Music charts when it probably should have been left to linger in the past. How does a song that is so mediocre all of a sudden gain traction? Moreover, does this mean a mediocre blog post I’ve written years ago can suddenly become fashionable today? As an artist, I guess one never knows when the world will actually notice one’s art I guess that is why we keep creating.

Illegal Immigration 1 ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION

Who are the brave men and woman that stand between our border and those who try to enter illegally?  What are the difficulties and dangers they face trying to secure our border while dealing with a human side of the equation?  ICE the show will explore the good, bad and ugly side of these individuals trying to perform their work in an extremely difficult and dangerous environment. How do the ICS agents deal with the drug dealer who wants to keep the supply going, to the young child trying to get sanctuary from an oppressive regime, as well as the MS13 gangbuster, or just a person trying to make monies for the family and how about an ISIS cell trying to come to America.  ICE the show for the story needs to be told between this broken fence.

Would You Stay

Money falling from sky

If money was basically falling from the sky would you take the time to stay? Even if you know the resources you bring to the table can’t easily be replaced would you look for a lounge chair instead? Some still stay in their positions not for what it gives to them for they have enough but what they can give as an individual. These might be called workaholics but maybe they just want to stay so they can still be here. For even if you have all the money in the world it still takes effort to be deserving to stay in this place or get a key to the gate. Work might be just the key they need to keep going even if  others decided they’d rather leave.
