Heaven’s Reference

Wait a second before you walk through the pearly gates let’s face it wasn’t by the steps you’ve taken on your previous trip.  Be honest with yourself and admit you weren’t the easiest child even after you fully “grew up”.  Yes, many in your family pulled for you to get through the gates, except Aunt Mildred for she’s still angry about you throwing that ball in the house and breaking her priceless vase. That vase Isn’t worth anything here except for a grudge.  The gates appeared to be lifting when Arnold reminded the “final judge” about the way you treated him and the other kids you teased in high school. I felt things were just about to get hot in your place when “Spot” came to your rescue again. Your loyal best friend reminded us all about the kindness you showed to many four-legged friends.  I guess in the end a small step of kindness can give you the reference to walk through the most important gates after-life.
