Gambling on Me

I’m going to gamble on ME!  I was given a script that had the backing of the industry and was told it could be done with less cash in the game but then would I really be the one playing? Let’s face it making any movie is a roll of the dice, especially in today’s market but as an artist how could I shoot for something that wasn’t in my head initially.  It’s as if I was out of the table just pushing money into someone else’s slot machine.    Yes, the dice might have been hotter in another’s hands but it won’t feel the same if I’m not behind the roll.  So let’s roll the dice and G-D willing I’ll be the shooter for many, many rolls to come.
