Is This Happening

We landed at Newark Airport but couldn’t deplane hour after hour and just like the alien movies ” I don’t think we were alone”. There appeared to be at least a dozen airplanes in a similar situation. This didn’t appear due to external factors such as the weather but something else entirely.   All we had to do is go a few feet to a gate to deplane but for some unknown reason, we were just plain stuck. Yet, as I left the plane it seemed that others would just accept the faith without wondering why this occurred and if this is a sign of a larger problem. This wasn’t a United Airlines problem but something that appeared wrong with the system as a whole.   I for one will try to find some answer even if “they” may not like the question and expect us just to plane along.

FOOTNOTE- This occurred on UA flight UA 2081 but I’m sure we weren’t alone.
