Will Smith-Oscar

What Will Smith did to Chris Rock is reprehensible if not criminal but taking away the Oscar from him would also be wrong.  Let’s face it one doesn’t win an Oscar for “good behavior” but “good performance”.  Many of those awarded this plaque have had many character flaws that would not allow them to apply for a civil service position but the work they did in their craft is something to be admired or at least we hope so. Yes, politics has and continues to play a big role in who wins these awards but let’s hope politics doesn’t become the reason it’s taken away.
