Don’t Blame The Music

I do not personally support music that I find offensive and therefore will just change the channel. This doesn’t mean I believe we should ban music just because others will use it as an excuse to cause violence and/or hate in a community. Music should be a safe “outlet” to blow up the thoughts in your head that cause you pain and suffering so you can safely move ahead. Yes, it’s raw and crude sometimes because individual pain is such. Music definitely can drill through a line so we should be careful to make sure those who could be impacted to do evil don’t use it as an excuse to do so. It is not for me to judge what others listen to but to judge how it might impact that one individual. We are all impacted by what we see and hear but how it impacts us is truly an individual decision.
