Adult?

It’s not the clothes that one wears that prove that one is an adult or even the years they’ve worn them but the maturity that truly fits. Here are some criteria that we should judge an individual on.

(1) INDEPENDENCE- Does the individual have the ability to take on the responsibilities in the society they live in? Whether it be going to work on a regular basis, paying the bills on time, taking out the trash.

(2) STRENGTH-  How well can the individual cope with daily challenges of life and still have a smile at the end of the day.

(3) HELP- Understanding when and where an individual needs the help of family, friends, and/or professionals.

(4) FUN- Having the ability to bring this 3 letter word into the mundane and stressful life one might go through.
