Tonight starts the most solemn day of the year for individuals of my faith. Where we ask G-D to forgive our sins, as individuals, a nation, and as the globe itself then seals us for another year filled with happiness, success, and especially health. Yet how about us forgiving those individuals who don’t even really ask should we ask for their pardon? The saintly answer is yes for how can we ask to be forgiven for sins that we committed if we aren’t willing to forgive others but let’s face it we’re only human. Forgiving those who don’t ask to do so seems above our means. Yet some of our own actions and words are often hidden from our minds. If we want G-D to forgive us as a whole even the parts unknown to us then we should try to open our hearts to those who might only skip in our direction. In other words, if there is a hint that this person wants to be forgiven then let us be the better person and accept the token. G-D willing this year will be sealed with much happiness, success, and health to all those who walk the path even if it’s their 1st step in ages.
