I have the sleep powers of a “superhero” but they aren’t the hero type. For at night my ability to hear, see, and feel is so intense that it feels as if could do everything that superman does but sleep. Suddenly the dog panting is at a heavy metal decibel level, the alarm clock appears as bright as the sun and I can feel the sheet count in even my pillow. I guess being a “superhero” when one is trying to go to bed isn’t super at all.
