Even though the book IPO by Dan Koon paints a sinister plan of actual inve$ting in our youths especially those in a difficult situation I wonder if there is a way it could work for the investor, society, and most importantly the children. Maybe these children who are offered this opportunity know about it from day one and are clear about their rights and responsibilities. These children would be given all the resources to move way up the ladder than in most other situations but also give back to those who have inve$ted in their succes$. It is also true that some will claim that these individuals would somehow be indentured servants but no more than the college arts major who has loans they truly can never get out of. We continue to see the government blow trillions of our hard-earned monies on programs that were supposed to help the poor only enrich their own pockets why not try something else? This way government could get out of the way and the capitalist system which is the most succes$ful system in the world could invest in the greatest infrastructure we have “our children.”
