Is This A Dumb Question with my own equal response?
If one raises the corporate tax rate will they actually be the one’s paying for it in the long run?
For a corporation isn’t a person so when it turns a profit don’t all those shareholders get to share in those $$’s from the one who has one share in their 401 pension plan to his boss? Furthermore couldn’t the corporation plan to legally work to find ways even stupid one’s not to declare a profit like invest in something that takes a while if at all to turn profitable? Wouldn’t the corporation pay an extra bunch of accountants and lawyers to find such “tricks” diverting possible investments in real growth for the company and it’s share holders? Could it make sense for a corporation that felt such a burden in one nation move to another that lessons this cost and ship jobs in that direction as well? Finally wouldn’t said corporation find a way to have their general public pay such a burden with increasing cost in the products and or services they provide to the public?
Makes one wonder whether my question is dumb or whether it was dumb not to consider the answer instead?
