It always appears to be the silence that causes many a trigger to explode. The “San Jose” shooter (name left out on purpose) is just another example of quiet that turns to complete terror. It’s usually not the individuals that might say vile things who explode but the one’s that keep it inside with few words that have the shortest fuse. That is why the protection of “freedom of speech” is not only key for the individual but society as a whole. For when a person uses their words as detestable as they maybe then at least the larger explosion might be avoided. Furthermore those left in the silence should be the one’s professionals should look at more carefully and provide them with the resources to deal with “their emotions” in a way that doesn’t hurt them or society as a whole.
