You can make all the sacrifices you need but when you do wrong to another individual G-D demands the human touch. Honestly, this can be more difficult than any sin offering by confessing your mistakes to another human being you have wronged. For when a sacrifice is given on the altar you can assume G-D has wiped away your sin but let’s face it for some individuals forgiveness is much harder to attain. Therefore the act of asking for true forgiveness and making some type of amends is truly enough for most sins. Even if the fire is still burning bright for those we have wronged we can probably assume we have been forgiven by the one whose count matters most.
