If you want extra crispy Fried Chicken use an air dryer but note it may take 2 or more tries just to get the crunch exactly right. Previously I compared fried chicken in oil to one made in an air dryer and the result was more crispy on the air dryer format but way to dry. Then when I adjusted my cooking style the air dryer fried chicken came out just right. What I did was turn the chicken over in the air dryer about half way through and shorten the actual cooking time prescribed on the machine by a minute or two. This resulted in the most crispy fried chicken I’ve ever eaten without any grease yet still juicy through and through or in other words finger lick’n good.
