When you got your first boo boo I ran to save you with a band aid and a smile. If only life was a simple as those band-aid I’d be running many a mile to help. Yet the pain you are feeling is not from any physical wound but a mental one within. I watch you linger in pain but my limited capacity as a father can only go so far. So I count on those with the skills, knowledge and talent to provide you with the care you need although I still would love to rescue you again. Maybe just maybe providing you with the resources you truly needs is enough to turn can’t help into one that can. I want to see you better so you can shoot for the stars again. Even if someone else must provide the band aid for you to see them.
