Sacrifice

In a world where it appears everyone is in their own world sacrifice is the one that brings them together. It might be the sacrifice of time and monies to help a friend or even stranger in need which continues down to the next generation.  Yet the greatest sacrifice which gave birth to the faith we live today is the one Abraham was willing to do for G-D with his beloved son. In the end G-D allowed an animal to be replaced at the altar but Abraham’s willingness to put it all on the line has allowed our line to G-D to stay strong throughout many, many….generations.  Today G-D only commands us to bare small sacrifices to others to keep this line going. Let’s pray that these sacrifices we perform today will keep the line going way into the future.
