Emo- Not As Dark

“Emo The Musical” is a refreshing if not dark take on the “popular musical”.  The characters (except for the predictable hidden homosexual) are quite unique and portrayed with all their colors especially black.  Understanding that this film is on Netflix means it will be politically correct especially when it comes to it’s faith yet it allows some Christian followers to remain in the faith. Emo The Musical even is willing to take on this movement as a whole the good, bad and phony. Yet most importantly this film is entertaining which includes some catchy songs and laughs. EMO the Musical sometimes wearing black is very colorful after all.
