PROSECUTING ATTORNEY– He knew the danger and still he acted with a deadly touch. I ask you the juror if we let him off the hook how many other innocent lives will be taken from us? How many intentional touches will put us all at risk of our death. You can say it was all so innocent except there is a young lady no longer with us to prove that wasn’t the case. Therefore for justice sake I ask you to find the defender guilty of murder in the 2nd degree.
JUDGE– Defense you may present your closing argument.
DEFENSE ATTORNEY- He’s right my client is guilty but not of murder but of love. This was not a thoughtless crime but one of the burning heart of a young man and young lady who chose this path together. My client has suffered enough as his beloved is no longer with us. If we are to find my client guilty of said crime I wonder if we’re not guilty as well. For how many especially in the times we live need a little human touch. I ask the juror to find my client guilty of love but not of murder in any degree.
JUDGE– Just one quick note to the juror it is a crime not to wear gloves when touching another human being.
