Everyone

Everyone is needed! In a sense we all have to give a bit more of our individual self to truly make a difference. That is what the bible law about each individual providing a 1/2 shekel means to me. G-D could have commanded that the rich give more to this cause but everyone had to put an equal amount. An amount that was never whole by itself. Each one is dependent on the other to be complete just as we are with a marriage whether one on paper or one conducted in business/faith.  Individuals might be given specific tasks based on their skills and education yet in the end we all need to work together to truly make a difference in the heavens above. Maybe we should take this lesson to heart as we battle the Corona-virus instead of score political points against an opponent.  Together we will win even if it’s just takes a 1/2 shekel each.
