When Is It A Pattern

When is any singular attack an example of a pattern which we all should fear has a continuing thread. No matter how hideous one such attack is should we be concerned that it spreads to other attacks on one particular group/faith or faith as a whole? Whether it be the Charlestown attack on an African American Church, The  mass shooting on Pittsburgh Synagogue, the killings at a Sikh Temple or the latest vile carnage at New Zealand Mosque shows no religious institution is safe. We must also note that intense hatred is still alive and well in many of the communities we thought it has disappeared from. It’s time for solutions (below) that protect all our religious communities so that they actually achieve the peace they pray about.

(1) Armed Guards must secure each institution from entrances to exits.

(2) Hate Groups/Individuals need better monitoring and sting operations to prevent them from acting out on their evil plans.

(3) Community Discussions- It’s time the doors are open to others of differing faiths to learn to work and pray together for peace.
