What happens if the President acts more “Presidential will the critics and the fans be happy? President Trump showed the deference to the offense in his most recent tweets on the kneeling conversation (Tweet 1) and still many of his critics called him racist. The President’s supporters on the other hand probably felt it was a bit too tame. The tweet on the one year remembrance of Charottesville was not even covered by many in the media because it didn’t fit their narrative of the President. The truth is if the President continues this policy of becoming more “Presidential” he still will be demonized by his critics and have his supporters feel that the puppet maskers have started to grab his strings as well. We supporters don’t always agree with the way the President says it and may even disagree with some of the words but at least he has that Presidential tenacity, which gives us the courage to be ourselves as well. The critics will find a way to interrupt hatred from any of your words so keep it real “Mr. President” and speak to the people instead even if one or more strings has fallen.
A football game, that fans are paying soooo much money to watch and enjoy, is no place to protest,” Trump “Most of that money goes to the players anyway. Find another way to protest. Stand proudly for your National Anthem or be Suspended Without Pay.?
“The riots in Charlottesville a year ago resulted in senseless death and division,” Trump tweeted. “We must come together as a nation. I condemn all types of racism and acts of violence. Peace to ALL Americans!“
