Ladies Night Out- Gender Neutral

Gender Neutral 2  Ladies Night

Ladies Night Out might be a bit more blurry then in the past as gender neutral and transgender decide to get in the action.  For these individuals believe they are ladies even if they don’t have all the parts and if they claim they are then how can a club decide that they’re not? Which creates a problem in getting those from the opposite sex with the correct parts to participate in the evening activities.  Men are willing to pay a bit more to attend these locations and help these business if they can meet anatomically correct females not individuals who are adding or deleting parts.  Therefore Ladies Night Out might be going out before we know it.

PRIVATE- In House

Private Private 1

There was a time not to long ago when matters were dealt with in house rather then with outside elements. When there was a certain respect you had with the organization that you allowed the channels to be handle whatever situation came up and only looked outside when a real threat was occurring. Yet today many decide that this form of “respect” is not applicable as they seek outside before they even look in and this only hurts themselves as well as the organization (family, business, social group etc) that they are honored to be a part of.  In the New Year let us restore the tradition of the old and keep things within our walls until they begin to crack.

Starbucks Deal

Starbucks 3 Starbucks 2

Where can you rent office space in any major city for hours upon hours for less then $10 or so… Starbucks of course.  Starbucks not only permits you to hang out in their location but also provides you with free wire fire before any of it’s competitors got in the game.   Oh by the way the coffee and snacks are pretty good as well.  I’m not a fan of the political culture of Starbucks but it’s business environment suits me just fine for at least a few hours at a time.

12 People Dead in Bronx Fire…. Why?

Bronx Fire

Why in today’s day and age when we have smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguishers and ample resources should 12 people perish in a fire in the Bronx?  We all can understand how fires can start and spread rapidly but with all the resources at hand they shouldn’t claim this many innocent life’s. This is especially true at night during a holiday weekend when roads are clear for a quick response from those trained to save life’s. Something is not adding up and an investigation shouldn’t just occur in the management of the building but those trained to make sure it’s safe for the residents as well as those that respond to such emergencies.  Maybe if city government wasn’t so deeply involved in other parts of our life’s it would be able to focus on it’s most essential aspect protecting our life’s and tragedies like the fire in the Bronx could be avoided in the future.

Rejection Benefits

rejected 1 rejected 2

There can be almost no more painful feeling at the time then being rejected so who the hell am I to talk about benefits?  It can…. but should it?  While the pain of rejection is occurring here (below) are some long term benefits which you can accept or reject on your own.

YOU TRIED- Maybe you could have put a different foot forward but at least you moved in that direction and that is better then many others. What if’s might be in technique but at least not in trying.

STRIKE NOT OUT-   You can either move ahead to a “different sport” or attempt a new swing at this one.

SKILL-  Hopefully you will learn from your rejection and be better prepared for the next time you come to the plate, which you wouldn’t have the better skills for if you stayed in the bleachers.

EMPATHY-  Winning doesn’t help build empathy for those who have lost in their life and might actually make you a more compassionate rounded person.

It’s A Joke until….

It’s a joke until someone else doesn’t think it’s funny or until someone bleeds. I’m not actually sure about the later because I’ve seen some strange humor in the past. Yet in today’s world the line between joke and hurt is taking a whole new meaning even without the blood.  We are often offended not by the joke but who has the right to tell it and where it is told. You might accept a certain joke from a close friend or someone from your ethnicity but cross those lines and they will be cross with you.  It’s fine to say almost any joke at a comedy club although the exit doors appear to be swinging before an act is even finished but try that at your job and you’ll be exiting before you get to the punch line.  Humor like Art might be found in those who behold it or those who decide to drop it.

FOOTNOTE- Don’t be surprised if in today’s times corny jokes have a rebound even one’s without the butter.

New Chapter- In My Life

New Chapter

In just a few minutes I might just be starting a new chapter in my life or be repeating the same verse again. For I am meeting an individual who I already have invested $$’s with and now I will see if that ++ up to new success. This individual appears to have the skills and professionalism on the outside but now I’m stepping inside and the truth will soon be revealed. This chapter could end in the next pages or open a new book of opportunities that I’ve always dreamed and might even have to fear.  All I can promise is that if this chapter leads to a book you will be along for the ride and if G-D forbid it is a repeat well then a new chapter will begin again as long as I have the ability to turn the page.

President Trump = American Fighter

President Trump 102

He's lucky he had friends

President Trump is an American Fighter who stands and fights the battles many have been afraid to fight.  We live our life trying to avoid conflicts just to get through the loudmouths even if we want to shout as well, that is  until President Trump took some of the punches for us. We may not agree on all the punches he’s thrown but many of them (see below) have led us to cheer out loud which we felt uncomfortable only a year ago.  For those who disagree on those punches it’s not that you’re not an American but just want a different boxer to enter the ring to fight back. We who support the President though are up for the challenge and have learned from his skill how to throw a rhetorical punch as well.

(1) NFL SMACK DOWN–  We considered it a disgrace that the privileged didn’t have the respect to honor the Flag with standing at attention but kept our voices and $$ shut until the fighter entered this ring.

(2) ISLAMIC EXTREMIST- Many felt we were fighting a political correct battle instead of using our entire resources to destroy this evil that only grew as we waffled.

(3) JERUSALEM-  Our leaders would state the position we seemed to all agree on the campaign trail but somehow it became to difficult to capitalize on it in the real world.

(4) FREEDOM-  This word didn’t exist when expressing the right to buy or not buy a service or violate our religious teaching until this year’s difference.

(5) HISTORY-  As historic moments were taken down instead of added too we felt that only one story was going to be told instead of the full fabric of a nation.

(6) WALLS-  The walls many of the elites use to protect their property were not permitted to protect the rest of us.

(7) DEEP STATE- We knew it was wrong that those in power would use all means necessary to stay in power but didn’t have the strength and/or courageous to be drawn into the battle.

You’re FIRED- A Future Story

You're Fired 2

Future story that appears to be at the printer.

I’m sorry to report that we must dismiss you from your position at this company for the insensitive remarks you made to Albert.  We understand Albert was not showing up for work on a timely basis and his performance was lacking but you should have considered his ethnicity and sexual orientation before you made such remarks about his work performance. Surely you could have chosen more appropriate terms to express our dissatisfaction with the way Albert was performing without “hurting his feelings” and maybe even waited at a more adequate time to express those concerns. Our company intention is to be more “sensitive” to those concerns and as a white male who has such privileges you should have understood that from the start. Therefore you are FIRED.

FOOTNOTE- You never had a chance to respond just received this letter.

Timer & YOU

Time ticking 2 Time ticking 1

YOU are so special/incredible/wonderful because time continues to tick and you still read.  While I rush along with my daily schedule trying to make time to write my thoughts you take the time to actually read them which encourages me to make sure this time slot is always open. I may not have time to have great discussions with family and friends but you are hear listening and hopefully thinking about what I’ve written. Without YOU I would truly feel alone in this blog and would probably stop writing before I actually got to the ….
